Darren James - New South Wales

Karen Harvey - South Australia

Tim Henry works at Relationships Australia, Tasmania where over the past seven years he has been a counsellor, group facilitator and manager. He manages two Children's Contact Services including one which is a partnership with another organisation which has volunteer staff working alongside paid employees. Tim enjoys being involved with CCS because it is such a positive child focussed service.

Brigitte-Jane Ryan - Northern Territory

Brigitte-Jane is the Co-Coordinator of Centacare NT's Children's Contact Services in both Berrimah and Palmerston. She has been working in this role for almost two years. She is also a Conditionally Registered Psychologist and works as a Family Relationships Counsellor at the same organisation, often working with parents assisting them with parenting skills.

Brigitte-Jane facilitates the "Three Choices" parenting programme, incorporating 1-2-3 Magic and Emotional Coaching, individually with parents and as a group programme. She enjoys working in this role as it is challenging and rewarding. Assisting families to move towards self management, dealing with highly emotional and highly conflictual clients and assisting parents to remain child focused are some of the most significant challenges Brigitte-Jane faces in this role.

She finds her role as an ACCSA Board Member an experience that is both rewarding and challenging and a fantastic opportunity to share information with other CCS's.
